The AIBO Speedboard

The Speedboard is an accessory for the ERS-210. As the name suggests, the Speedboard is a skateboard-like accessory that, when paired with the accompanying software, allows AIBO to navigate its environment aboard the speedboard.

The AIBO is strapped onto the Speedboard with paws positioned on the steering bar and interacts with the board accordingly, pushing its hind legs back to push the board ahead.

Software[edit]

For proper interaction with the Speedboard, AIBO requires a memory stick or the memory stick software that was included with the board itself.

AIBO is not autonomous while using the Speedboard software. The dog follows it's pink ball and reacts to voice commands, accompanied by rock music.

ERS-7[edit]

An unofficial R-CODE program created for the Speedboard exists and was distributed privately on AIBOWORLD and at various UK meets.
